Averaging kya hai?

Girte hue stock me aur khareedne se average cost kam ho jaati hai, lekin ye tabhi samajhdari hai jab company ke fundamentals strong hon. Sirf price dekh kar average na karein.

How to Use

  1. Enter quantity and price of your first buy.
  2. Add your second buy (averaging down or up).
  3. See your average price per share and total invested.

Formula

Average price = (Q1×P1 + Q2×P2) ÷ (Q1 + Q2)

Total cost divided by total shares. Simple weighted average — no brokerage included (add it to prices for precision).

💡 Example

Example: 100 shares @ ₹500 + 100 shares @ ₹300 → average = ₹400/share, total invested ₹80,000.
