NPS calculator kaise use kare?

Monthly contribution, expected annual return, current age aur retirement age dalein. NPS calculator monthly compounding se estimated retirement corpus, total investment aur gains dikhata hai. NPS market-linked hai — returns guaranteed nahi hote.

How to Use

  1. Enter your monthly NPS contribution.
  2. Set your current age and retirement at 60.
  3. Choose an expected return (default ~10%).
  4. See your projected corpus, annuity value and monthly pension.

📋 Returns market-linked hain (guaranteed nahi) — tax rules as per FY 2026-27, verify on incometax.gov.in.

Formula

Corpus = monthly contribution compounded at expected returns till age 60. At maturity, minimum 40% must buy an annuity; up to 60% can be withdrawn lump-sum (tax-free).

💡 Example

Example: ₹10,000/month from age 30 to 60 at 10% → corpus ≈ ₹2.27 crore. 40% annuity (~₹91 lakh) could give ~₹60,000/month pension at 8% annuity rate.

FAQs — NPS Calculator

NPS (National Pension System) is a government retirement scheme where you invest till age 60, building a corpus that's partly annuitised into lifelong pension.

Up to ₹1.5 lakh under 80C plus an extra ₹50,000 under 80CCD(1B) — total ₹2 lakh deduction (old regime).

Partial withdrawals up to 25% allowed after 3 years for specific needs. Full exit before 60 requires 80% annuitisation.

NPS offers market-linked higher returns with pension; PPF is fully safe and tax-free but lower returns. Many use both.
